003; making friends

Saffron is sitting at a small table in an area that despite the utilitarian, stark surroundings, is clearly set up to pretend to be a cheerful little café area. Both she and the slightly-older man across from her are wearing casual not-quite-off-duty clothes, and the man has half a face.

Which is to say, the other half of his face is all hard metal cybernetics, no veneer of pretend flesh. A large amount of his body seems to have been replaced with metal prosthetics, in fact, but it doesn't seem to deter him from trying to have a good time; he's clearly a jokester, and good at it, too. He's definitely flirting a little, and Saffron engages him in upbeat chatter the whole time.

There's something about his manner that seems a little downcast, though, even as he keeps up the attitude.

General Takeaways:
- This guy was also in her initial briefing (memory 1); he's probably a member of the same squadron
- They're either on a smallish space station or a transport or something? It seems like their base since someone has clearly tried to make it livable.
- He's got a case that's marked as medical equipment with him, so he's probably (against all odds) the squadron medic.

Internal Knowledge:
- This guy has got to be allergic to bacta, which sucks for him, a lot.
- He also seems to maybe have some real bad depression.
- Being a cyborg is something that often gets pitied but she's really trying hard not to do that since she finds him likable.
