004; an opportunity

Saffron is at home in her relatively unlived-in apartment—it looks like she's barely moved in. Somewhat notably, what look like windows on the walls turn out on closer inspection to be video panels displaying idyllic scenery. She's relaxing, still in work clothes, when the door chimes. When she checks who it is on her buzzer's video feed, she relaxes her posture slightly, and answers the door.

The two men there are very notable in that one is very handsome barring some facial scarring, and one is about 50% metal parts. They introduce themselves as Lt. Face Loran and Flight Officer Ton Phanan from Wraith Squadron, and address her as Lara Notsil, and they're looking for her help. Specifically, they want her to enroll in New Republic flight school... and do kind of shittily, actually, because they need an ingenue to bust a corrupt officer.

At first, she hesitates—Saffron (or Lara?) says that she used to have an interest in learning to pilot, but after—something about her hometown being destroyed, and being held captive by one Admiral Trigit—she'd given up on that, and that she doesn't want to ruin her reputation and only wants to live a quiet life. But after they talk her around a bit, she seems to change her mind and agrees to it.

After she closes the door, she waits for just a little bit, and then, to herself, does a tiny little fistpump.

General Takeaways:
- Her name is Lara Notsil, apparently, which tracks with her brother's name.
- The handsome man, Face Loran, is the one she sat next to in the briefing theater in memory 1.
- The cyborg, Ton Phanan, is the man she was talking to in memory 4.
- This kind of explains how she got involved in a scheme to bust a smuggling ring.
- She was held captive at some point? Her hometown was destroyed?

Internal Knowledge:
- Wow it's like they delivered an objective right into her hands. Kickass.
- Her name is not Lara Notsil.
