Saffron is maybe in her mid-teens, and leaving school; the sky outside is grey and rainy, and leaving the building, she's on a high-up outside sidewalk—or maybe it's better described as a balcony with a railing, extending from a dizzingly-tall building in a city so big it stretches to every horizon. Speeders are waiting outside to pick up children leaving for the day.

She's about to head on her way toward some form of transit when someone calls her name (which is redacted, this time). The person waiting for her is in an official-looking uniform, and she seems to regard them as a stranger.

He explains that she is now a ward of the state, and that in spite of her parents' transgressions, she can expect to be cared for. She is further informed that her belongings have already been moved to her new accommodations, and that she will be coming with him.

Saffron takes this all in with kind of a blank expression, and follows him.

General Takeaways:
- She seems to be at school on some kind of city-planet.
- She seems used to going home by herself on the local equivalent of public transit.
- Flying/levitating vehicles seem to be the norm.
- She seems to attend a very nice school.
- Her parents are probably indisposed in a bad way.

Internal Knowledge:
- This is her home planet.
- Her parents are definitely dead and probably were executed.
- This person works for the same person her parents worked for, but she hasn't met him before.
- She is absolutely boned if she does anything other than what she was told.
- How could they do this to her?

When I die, I will come in fast and low. I will stick the landing. There will be no confusion. The dead will make room for me.
